Doors to the Future

As the Year 2010 grew to an end, and we were all sensing some of the transition happening around us, our final art project to usher in a new year was called 'My Door to the Future.' The children made a door from paper and glued another sheet behind it and in that door way, they collaged and wrote and drew what they envision for themselves in the year ahead. I think the beautiful display adorning the entrance and hallway at Shikshamitra shows how deeply the children took up this task and how much they enjoyed pouring themselves into it.
